I’m not an excellent surfer and truth be told, I am not much of a surfer at all. But I do find it fun to get up on a surfboard every once in a while. This is not an easy task for someone who doesn’t surf on a regular basis. That is why when I surf I only want to surf on longboard surfboards. The reason for this is, with longboard surfboards they are much easier to catch a wave on even if you are not a surfer like me. After a few times, I can usually get up on a longboard surfboard and catch a wave.
After the first wave I catch I feel like a pro, and it is a natural high that I love. I’m not looking to become the next professional surfer but am just looking for a fun day out on the beach. The reason it is easier to catch a wave on longboard surfboards is because they are taller and more bouyant, which translates into more waves caught. I can balance easier on longboard surfboards. So it is always fun times out on the beach!
