My Next Board Is Going to be a Fish Surfboard

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

For years, I have been surfing on my longboard. I learned how to surf on this baby and I simply did not want to give her up, we have been through everything together! We got beat up in the same surf, rode the best waves in Hawaii together, and even did decently in some amateur surfing contests. Lately though, I have noticed she was looking a bit worn out. She no longer waits by the door at 5 AM ready to hit the ocean; I have to drag her out of the closet now. I decided to give her a break and give myself more of a challenge. After several recommendations, I am going to get a fish surfboard!

I know this board is my shorter than my longboard, it is just under 6 feet long, but it is also much lighter. That means I can go faster! I will also have much better maneuverability so I can work on a few tricks.  I think my longboard will appreciate being able to sleep in and I am ready to learn more skills out there on the waves. Time for me to buy my new fish surfboard! I am going to go on buyboardz.com and order one today!

Discount Surfboards Make You a Better Surfer

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

I started surfing last summer and absolutely loved it. The girls and I would love to get up early in the morning, catch the best waves before the crowd got there, go out to breakfast, and then crash for three hours; that was the life! I was borrowing my friend Amber’s extra board all summer though so this year I wanted to buy a board of my own. Although I had saved up enough money to buy a brand new board at a normal retail price, I decided to shop around for discount surfboards. Who doesn’t want to save money? Since it was near the beginning of the summer, prices were very high in all the stores I checked out along the boardwalk so I went online. I am so glad I did! I found buyboardz.com and found the board I wanted at a fantastic price.

Now that I had some extra dinero, I decided to take some real surfing lessons. I signed up with a great surfing school and learned some great tips. I have already improved so much and it is only June! Popping up on my board is a piece of cake now and I feel more comfortable catching the bigger, more aggressive waves. This summer is going to rock!

Do not pay full price for a board! Just go online to buyboardz.com and peruse their large selection of discount surfboards, longboards, and stand up paddle boards.  My board is perfect for me, I love its look, and I saved a huge amount of money. Why spend more than you need to? Have an awesome summer!

Budget Surfboards for Real Surfers

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

No one likes the dude that strolls up with all the latest gear and shows it off like he’s top notch stuff just because he has the surfboard with LED lights and alligator skin surfboard bag. Those people are just like people who have books in their home just as a decoration and they earn no respect. You will probably see this guy walk around the beach with his board more than him actually on his board on the waves. Real surfers can get it done with less expensive budget surfboards.

The love of the sport comes from it just being you and your board there battling the waves and spending it with fellow surfers that respect you. This doesn’t mean that experienced surfers don’t want more people to take on the sport. Experienced surfers love budget surfboards just as much because they are a great learning tool and the more surfboards the merrier. So save yourself the embarrassment from getting the designer surfboard that has been bedazzled in hopes someone will see you. All you really need is a budget surfboard and they get the job done just as well if not better. For a great selection of discount surfboards head to Buyboardz. You will find the right surfboard for you at a price you can afford. To help stretch your budget, a free leash is thrown into the purchase. You can also rest assure that these budget surfboards are quality and will last you a long time.

Finding the Right Paddle Board Paddles

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

Obviously, having the right paddle board paddles are important to the sport. You need to test out your paddle board paddles and make sure that they are the right fit for your height. You don’t want to be out at sea with a paddle board paddles that is too long that you can barely keep it out of the water. You also don’t want a paddle board paddle that is too short that you can barely get it into the water without you squatting. You’ll never get better at the sport and you won’t be reaching your potential. You’ll also look like a fool with paddle board paddles that are too big for you. Once you found the right paddle board paddles, paddle boarding will be your favorite sport. You can travel the seven seas with just you, your longboard and your paddles. Well, you can but it’s probably better you fly there then paddle around to each one. For a great selection of paddle board paddles, head over to Buyboardz. You can find the perfect paddle board along with sturdy quality paddle board paddles. Once you get them you can start your adventure in the open seas.

No Bruises with Foam Surfboard Equipment

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

Foam surfboard equipment is the way to go if you are looking to take on the wonderful sport of surfing. The reason is because with any new hobby you are going to experience some bumps in the road and it’s never going to be smooth sailing or surfing in this case. There are going to be a lot of slips and falls and any surfer can tell you that you don’t always hit the water. Instead you come crashing into your surfboard equipment and it’s not made of marshmallows. This can discourage a lot of people when they get beat up by their boards. But with foam surfboard equipment you can avoid this and soften the blow when you experience your first of many wipeouts.

Foam surfboard equipment is created for beginners and for people who don’t like to feel a solid surface coming at them full force. They are also ideal for children as they can be really discouraged if hurt and with kids so fearless there’s no reason to instill fear into their new hobby. Knowing that you have the padding to break your fall will make you try bigger and badder moves meaning that you will become a better surfer! There really isn’t any reason not to get soft surfboard equipment unless you’re the type of person who likes bruises.

Stand Up Paddle Surfing Is Cool

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

There are always new takes on old sports, with different adaptations and new concepts. Usually though, these concepts don’t necessarily hold up to their predecessors. I’m a firm believer in not overdoing things, and trying to make something out of nothing. But, the latest, stand up paddle surfing, changes my philosophy on tweaking ideas. It’s like surfing, but you have a paddle, making it easier to balance, and the nice thing about it is that you don’t necessarily have to be on the ocean. You can use them anywhere that has water; a river, a lake, or the ocean. I tried this sport when I was on vacation a few months ago, and instantly fell in love with it. It just offers a different dynamic on the already great sport of surfing, and I was automatically engaged in the sport. After my vacation ended, I decided I had to have a board for myself, to use whenever I wanted. I did some research online, and came up with what I think is the best source; buyboardz.com. They have a great selection of discount surfboards, and paddles. Now, I go to the lake as often as I can, and sometimes make the ride to the ocean, because you can’t beat the feeling and freedom that you get with stand up paddle surfing.

Soft Top Surfboards Help You Deal with Your Fear

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

I used to dabble in surfing. I would go in and play around when my friends were all surfing, but I always had a hard time with how big and hard the boards were. They knocked me around, and made it really difficult for me to enjoy learning the new sport. Finally, someone introduced me to soft top surfboards, and it forever changed my attitude and outlook on surfing. The board is a bit softer and just easier to maneuver all around. The soft top surfboard really helped me learn the sport and I didn’t have to battle with the board to get up and paddle out. This small adjustment really helped me enjoy the learning process and get into the groove. Suddenly, I was always the first one out on the waves, and I really fell in love with the sport. There’s nothing like getting home from work and riding the waves, and without the flexibility of the soft top surfboard, I might not have made it through my first few failed attempts to get up on the longboard.

Longboard Surfing Helped Me Get in the Water

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

I wasn’t always a surfer. I used to be petrified of it actually. The mere thought of being out there on a board, as well as on the menu for sharks, was just too much for me. I used to watch all my friends out there having a blast, enjoying the waves, while I sat on the shore and wished I could join them. Finally, I realized that I was missing out on some great times and experiences, because of a fear that was unfounded and dramatic. So, I finally decided I needed to put my fears aside and join the fun. I grabbed a friend’s surfboard and started doing some longboard surfing. It was a great way for me to get started, with the bigger board, making it a little easier to learn and balance. Once I was in the water, and able to think logically, I was no longer as afraid as I was before of the sharks. At a certain point, we have to believe that things happen for a reason, and the chances of a shark attack are extremely slim. Step by step, and day by day it got easier for me, and I finally began being able to enjoy surfing the way it’s meant to be enjoyed.

Surfboards Online Are the Way to Go

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

I was always a big window shopper. I love to look around at what’s out there and just browse. So, you can imagine how much I love browsing on the internet. I’m able to window shop from the comfort of my own home, in the luxury of my own pajamas. This has led me to become a better, more informed shopper. So of course when I was in the market for a new surfboard, I was having a great time checking out different surfboards online, and comparing them to each other. I wasn’t sure at first if I’d end up getting the board online, or if I’d get one at the store by the beach, but then I found this great site, buyboardz.com, and I found the perfect board. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how much research and shopping you do, when you find the right stand up paddle board or pair of jeans, you just have to have it.

Surfboards for Sale Everywhere

Friday, August 15th, 2008

A lot of places claim to have "surfboards for sale". You see the signs and advertisements all over the place. Then you buy a board from one of them, and find yourself totally dissatisfied. It’s like how everyone claims to have the "best" deals. How can everyone have the "best" deals? The truth is, they can’t. Only some can have the best deals, others you may find to be disappointing. These are all factors that have contributed to my excessive reliance on being cynical. Everyone has something for sale that they claim is such a great deal and blah blah blah, but finally I found a place that holds true to its word, buyboardz.com. Now, I’m able to use my new stand up paddle board as a relaxing practice, and I’m finding myself becoming less and less cynical. So, thank you Buyboardz!
